NEW DELHI: It seems the noose is tightening on actor and former general secretary of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) actor Siddique in the case registered against him for allegedly raping a woman actress at a hotel in Thiruvananthapuram in 2016.
KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit appreciated by 2.5 per cent against the US dollar in July 2024 in line with most regional currencies, according to Bank Negara Malaysia .
It added that the 10-year Malaysian Government Securities yield decreased by 14 basis points compared to the regional average of -25 bps, alongside a decline in US bond yields."Domestic financial markets were mostly driven by global developments, particularly shifting expectations over the United States monetary policy path," it said.
Consequently, financial market participants revised their 2024 US policy rate expectations to two to three cuts .
