Daniel Ricciardo has wowed his fans by driving Red Bull's famous RB7 through beautiful Australia scenery in a promotional video ahead of this weekend's Grand Prix in Melbourne.

The 33-year-old took the famous RB7 – Red Bull’s 2011 car which won the Drivers and Constructors’ Championship – around famous Australian locations including the Sea Cliff Bridge and Mount Panorama.

The video begins with a conference call between the Red Bull team and Ricciardo, who is at home on his farm in Western Australia driving an orange tractor. The motorbike racing star could be seen riding alongside the RB7, and even jumping over the car in one scene. He then ventures to regional Queensland, where Price helps him test out the RB7’s precision steering and racing on dirt roads.

As a reserve driver, Ricciardo is helping Red Bull improve the development of the RB19 in the simulator.

'There's a shift in the international community here and China is a serious threat – you wonder whether Daniel Andrews will confront any of this. It's unlikely, especially away from the critical eyes of the media. 'We need to know, as Australians, did the Chinese Communist Party only agree to meet with the Victorian Premier if he came without journalists? Were these rules of engagement set out by China?'
