: Puluhan ribu pelarian Afghanistan yang tinggal di Pakistan kini mula berkumpul di sempadan untuk pulang ke negara asal yang dilanda konflik, susulan tindakan tegas Islamabad ke atas pendatang tanpa izin, walaupun terdapat bantahan global.
Lebih seratus keluarga masing-masing terdiri daripada kira-kira 30 orang anggota dilihat berada dalam barisan lori di Torkham, satu daripada dua lintasan sempadan utama antara Pakistan dan Afghanistan, menurut Rabi. “Kami mula menangkap pendatang tanpa izin,” kata Irfan Baloch, seorang pegawai polis di Karachi, bandar yang menempatkan lebih 3 juta pelarian Afghanistan.
