Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. doubled down on his conspiracy theory on his uncle JFK's assassination and his anti-vaccine stance.

Kennedy appeared in Joe Rogan's podcast episode that aired Thursday, and Rogan began the show by promising not to interrupt the son of the late attorney general.Rogan acknowledged that"people are very concerned with letting you [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.] say things that's going to get them in trouble" because Kennedy was"kind of looney" regarding vaccines.

Previously, Kennedy had peddled a conspiracy that the CIA was involved in the assassination of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy. He repeated the conspiracy theory while on the podcast. "What do you think happens when you get into office? Like, if you're talking about your uncle who was assassinated and you believe the intelligence agencies were a part of that, what happens to you?" Rogan asked.

"Well, I got to be careful," Kennedy responded."And I'm aware of that — I'm aware of that danger. I don't live in fear of it, you know, at all. But I'm not stupid about it, and I take precautions."The government concluded that convicted shooter Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the 1963 murder of JFK. It also determined there was no credible evidence he was part of a conspiracy to assassinate the president, according to the Warren Commission released on Sept.

Kennedy's candidacy is supported by 44% of Democrats, with 37% opposed and 19% not sure, according to a YouGov poll. The candidate is facing off with author Marianne Williamson and President Joe Biden in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination.
