JUST IN: Law enforcement is raising the reward to $500,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect accused of placing pipe bombs outside Democratic and Republican national headquarters a day before Jan. 6.

The announcement comes two days before Friday's second anniversary of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Starting around 7:30 p.m. the night of Jan. 5, 2021 that hooded figured placed those pipe bombs outside the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee. They did not detonate, but the case has vexed federal and local law enforcement ever since. The F.B.I. is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for placing a pipe bomb in Washington D.C.
