KUALA LUMPUR: Here are the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia

SUBANG JAYA: The review of existing laws related to the ecommerce is expected to be completed by mid-2025, says Datuk Seri Armizan Mohd Ali.

“We have given the team a timeline of a year to review and conduct engagement sessions with all stakeholders including the business community under ecommerce such as the Shopee platform and others. “So, we are confident that with a more comprehensive legal framework that is suited to current demands and technological developments, we will be able to provide better protection to consumers and simultaneously build confidence. This will encourage more of our community to use this ecommerce platform,” he said when he met with reporters after the closing ceremony of the 2024 Shopee Seller Summit.
