Tourism players in Malaysia are reporting a surge in holiday bookings as the festive season and school holidays approach, driven by the 'revenge travel' trend. Travel agencies and hotels are seeing a high volume of inquiries and early bookings for family and group trips, both domestic and international. Domestic destinations like Melaka, Penang, Kuala Selangor, and Johor Baru are popular choices, while international destinations like Europe, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China attract higher-income travelers. The availability of visa-free policies for these countries is seen as a significant advantage for Malaysian travelers.

“There is a wide variety of theme park and entertainment activities on board, international food choices and daily excursions that offer more human interaction.
