The Prime Minister has revealed his New Year's resolution during a radio interview where he told of his discussions with King Charles and gave his opinion on the job Joe Biden is doing as President.
Mr Albanese was asked for his New Year's resolution during a radio interview on Monday, with rising prices at the front of the Prime Minister's mind.
"But my New Year's resolution is just to continue to deal with cost of living pressures and continue to try to do my best governing the country." Food and non-alcoholic beverages increased 9.4 per cent amid a 7.3 per cent rise in meals out and takeaway food, with transport up nine per cent. Minutes from the December meeting noted the board"remains resolute in its determination" to return inflation to within the target band of two to three pre cent, adding it"did not rule out returning to larger increases if the situation warranted". , following on from several overseas trips to countries including Indonesia, Japan, France and Spain in the months since becoming Prime Minister in May last year.
