A restaurant manager in Malaysia was arrested for allegedly using dining utensils to promote communist propaganda. The arrest came after a video uploaded to YouTube showed the items, leading to a police raid where five bowls were found to be in violation of the law.
PETALING JAYA : Tindakan seorang pengurus restoran di Jalan Kasuarina 6/KS7, Bandar Botanic, Klang, dekat sini menggunakan peralatan makanan bagi mempromosikan agenda komunis mengundang padah apabila dia diberkas polis semalam.
Kata beliau, dalam paparan video tersebut terlihat beberapa peralatan makanan di kedai tersebut berunsurkan agenda komunis dengan cara cetakan imej propaganda dan slogan komunisme pada setiap barangan tersebut. “Hasil semakan di laman web b.cari.com.my, kita dapati sebuah video yang diambil daripada pautan YouTube atas akaun ‘luiswong90’ memaparkan restoran itu mempunyai beberapa peralatan hidangan makanan dan minuman seperti pinggan, mangkuk, teko, gelas dan cawan gambar pemimpin komunis,” katanya di sini.
“Kita turut merampasa satu cawan kaca teh seramik warna putih berjalur biru tercatit tulisan Bahasa Cina dan gambar beberapa orang, “Suspek mengaku barang-barang tersebut dibeli oleh rakan pemilik restoran yang tinggal di negara China dan dihantar ke Malaysia untuk digunakan di restoran tersebut.
