The Love Field Citizens Action Committee has been meeting for months to discuss recommendations for city council.say late arrivals and takeoffs are keeping children up at night, despite a voluntary curfew meant to preserve the peace in the area around the 106-year-old airfield.
For months, the Love Field Citizens Action Committee, made up of residents and business owners in surrounding communities and founded in 1980, has met with the city’s Department of Aviation to attempt to come up with a solution to residents’ concerns over volume levels and schedules of airplanes taking off and landing atIt also takes a harsher look at communications with the city’s Department of Aviation and any issues that may arise, among other similar recommendations.
