In this week’s North Royalton Police Blotter, a resident called police after realizing she had been scammed.

The arriving officer talked to the woman, who said while in the market for a Fit Bit she called a number she found on Google.He also told her to enter a code, which then gave him remote access to her phone.The woman called the bank to report the activity; however, she needed a police report in order for the bank to issue a refund.On Sept. 8, police observed a black Ford Fusion that came back to an owner with a suspended driver’s license.
