Sprenzel said this challenge would not only challenge her physically but it also represents a personal triumph over adversity. She began preparing for this adventure over a year ago with some rigorous training that included physical training and many kilometres of walking and hiking in Suikerbosrand, Modderfontein and Groenkloof in Pretoria.Rita Sprenzel has been preparing for this adventure since last year.
