Research houses expect another OPR cut in 2020
SEVERAL research houses believe that there could be a possibility of another cut in the overnight policy rate this year after Bank Negara Malaysia reduced the rate to 2.75% from 3.0% yesterday.
Kenanga Research said given the prevalent state of uncertainty in both the global and domestic economies, it expected the central bank to lean towards another rate cut this year.
