The discovery of a rudimentary shelter, some half-eaten fruit and a fresh footprint leads authorities to say they are 'very close' to finding the children, who they believe have roamed the jungle since a plane crash.

The bodies of mother Magdalena Mucuti Valencia, the pilot and an Indigenous leader were found with the plane wreck. Judging by its size, the footprint found could belong to 13-year-old Lesly, who is believed to know the jungle very well.
