A really worrying time for their family and friends
An urgent search and rescue mission has been launched after a small submarine which explores the ruins of the sunken Titanic went missing in the Atlantic Ocean yesterday.
Titanic's wreck lies about 700km south of St John's, Newfoundland, though the rescue mission is being run from Boston in the US. Two aircraft, a submarine and sonar buoys were involved in the search, he added. However, he said the area in which the search is taking place was "remote", which is presenting challenges.
Harding is 58 and chairman of aircraft firm Action Aviation. He is a renowned adventurer who has flown to space and holds four Guinness World Records, according to Forbes. CNN reports that French diver and explorer PH Nargeolet and a Pakistani father and son are also on board the submarine.
