An autopsy report now attributes the cause of death to “intoxication” by a “substance to be determined,” Good Morning America reports.

“We do not believe that the cause of death was related to any issues with the hotel’s infrastructure, including carbon monoxide or a gas of any kind,” Henar Gil, general manager of Rancho Pescadero, a Hyatt hotel, said in a statement aired on GMA.Mexican authorities initially said a gas leak or carbon monoxide poisoning was suspected.

A GoFundMe account set up for the paramedics’ medical costs described how Valencia and his partner, who also is his sister, were flown to a private hospital for examination.Heathco and Lutz had been dead for about 10 hours when they were found, prosecutors said. It wasn’t clear who discovered them. Their bodies reportedly bore no signs of violence.

“We are trying to get Abby home to us so we can have the funeral she deserves,” it says. “Our family would be so grateful for any help. Abby was the most beautiful soul and we will miss her so much.”
