PETALING JAYA: The exemption of rent for school canteen operators will be extended further, says Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin.

PETALING JAYA: The exemption of rent for school canteen operators will be extended further, says Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin .“The last two years have been tough for canteen operators and those who are renting the premises in schools under the Ministry.

“Taking the country’s current economic situation into account and understanding that these operators are recovering from the effects of Covid-19, the Ministry decided to extend the rent exemption in schools that fall under the ministry. “The Ministry is confident that this exemption for six months will help and benefit these operators,” he said in a video posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday .
