SINGAPORE — It is important for religious leaders to weigh in on matters concerning people in their communities as their guidance has helped to foster and nurture religious harmony, said Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam.
Religious leaders and the Inter-Religious Organisation have an important duty to guide their communities, given that religion is being invoked by many around the world in regard to the Israel-Hamas war, said Mr Shanmugam.
He was touching on online comments that religious leaders should not be giving guidance with regard to the Israel-Hamas war
