San Antonio Councilman Mario Bravo launched into an angry, intensely personal attack against fellow Council member Ana Sandoval that led to his censure.The city of San Antonio has released footage of Councilman Mario Barvo berating Councilwoman Ana Sandoval before City Council’s Sept. 15 meeting.
Cameras overlooking the council dais shows the District 1 councilman and Sandoval, who represents District 7, talking with a group of other people before the two walk over to a semiprivate space nearby. The footage then shows the two speaking to one another for about three minutes before another person walks over and appears to begin talking to them. Sandoval and Bravo then walk off.
Bravo was later stripped of all his committee assignments following an independent investigation and then censured during a special Council meeting last week.
