Reinforce Singapore ties as Malaysia transitions, says Anwar

PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said it is important for Malaysia and Singapore to remain “on the best of terms” despite the recent flaring up of contentious issues, as both neighbours share a common history and are mutually dependent,Speaking at a conference in the republic yesterday, Anwar said that it was important for the two countries to further enhance their relationship as Malaysia undergoes “a period of transition and economic problems due to the mismanagement” in the past.
