Xiaomi Malaysia has announced the release of the Redmi 13C 5G, its latest affordable smartphone offering in our country. The 5G version of the popular Redmi 13C

The 13C 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with either 4 or 8GB RAM and either 128 or 256GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 5000mAh battery which supports 18W charging, though only a 10W adapter is included in the box. Display-wise, it’s a 6.74-inch 90Hz LCD with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 600 nits peak brightness, DC Dimming, TUV Rheinland Blue Light certification and a tear-drop notch housing the 5MP selfie camera. At the rear, you’ll find the 50MP AI main camera paired with a secondary sensor.
Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, Dual 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio jack and colour options of either Silver, Blue or Black. In Malaysia, the 13C 5G starts at RM699 for the base 4/128GB storage and goes all the way to RM999 for the 8/256GB variant. You can also get the base variant for RM659 if you purchase it online through Xiaomi Malaysia’s Shopee or Lazada official stores.
