PETALING JAYA: The Red Eagles are back and ready to take flight. And it doesn’t matter if they have the Red Giants in their way.

After undergoing a 14-day quarantine, due to some of their players and officials being tested positive for Covid-19, Kedah will resume Super League action today against Selangor at the Darulaman Stadium.

Kedah coach Aidil Sharin admits his charges are not in the best shape due to the quarantine but they are determined to get full points. “Selangor are on a good run at the moment. We must be wary of their counter-attack and keep the shackles on the high-scoring Ifedayo , who is a Golden Boot contender.Aidil added they couldn’t do anything about the quarantine as they had to follow the regulations set by the National Security Council, but that has not affected the players’ mindset to push for a top-three finish in the Super League.
