On an unbeaten run of four away games in the Vodacom URC, Munster will attempt to cap their fairytale by dethroning the defending champions at Cape Town Stadium.Tickets for the grand final went on sale last week and sold out in three hours, with over 50,000 fans set to make their way to Greenpoint for the Saturday evening kick-off.

However, it has been reported in Ireland that a wall of red jerseys will be present in Cape Town, as Munster fans hope to see their side win its first major title since 2011.subscriber podcast, Vodacom URC chief executive Martin Anayi said that around 5,000 Munster fans will make the trip to South Africa, despite the cost and the length of travel.

“We’ve a team out there getting ready, there’s a lot of buzz,” said Anayi. “I think we sold the 3,000 tickets made available to Munster, they all went immediately, and they reckon there’s going to be at least 5,000 Munster fans in the stadium.” A handful of Munster supporters were present when the visitors became the first away side to win at Cape Town Stadium since December 2021, ending the Stormers’ long winning run at home.
