Meteorologist Nick Allard, KIRO 7 NewsAfter setting a record for the lowest high temperature in Seattle on Thursday at 35°, another record was set on Friday morning when the temperature in Seattle dropped to 21°.If the cold isn’t enough to remind you that winter is far from over, there is also significant snowfall in the forecast yet again.It will be a gusty to breezy day Friday, but not as windy as it has been.
We could see around 2 to 4 inches of snow before it tapers to showers Sunday. During the day we’ll see scattered showers which will be snow or wet snow and rain. We could see some ice pellet showers or possibly some isolated thunderstorms. Our next system hits Saturday night and it could produce about 2-4" of snow. Sunday will have scattered snow/wet snow showers, but watch the Convergence Zone for possibly higher totals. More mix showers into Monday & Tuesday!
