Now, tipster Digital Chat Station reports that the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, making it the first smartphone with this processor available globally. The new processor is rumored to deliver a significant performance boost, with Qualcomm targeting a peak clock speed of up to 4.26GHz. Reports indicate that Qualcomm will unveil the SD8G4 chip in October, suggesting the GT 7 Pro may debut in India in the last quarter of this year.
In the meantime, the brand is also preparing to launch the Realme GT 6 in the global market. The phone is expected to launch sometime in July, with specifications similar to those of the China-exclusive Realme GT Neo 6. This means that we can expect the device to have a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with multiple AI-driven features onboard. It will likely offer an OLED display with 1.5k resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to pack LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.
