American Water Works Co Inc, which supplies drinking water and wastewater services to more than 14 million people, said hackers had breached its computer networks and systems.

KUALA LUMPUR: A group of property agents are crying foul after their profiles were allegedly misused by imposters to carry out rental transactions for properties in the Klang Valley.

Lee was speaking on behalf of several agents whose identities were misused to conduct such activities. “Listed property prices in their account are also lower than market rates to attract clients,” he said. Lee said the scammers will also collect a three-and-a-half month deposit up front, when the norm is that only one month’s advance rental is collected if the client agrees to the unit.He said the deposits were also banked-in to a number handed over by the “agent” and once the transaction was made, the scammer would immediately block the number of the client.
