BENTONG: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will hold “Ops Bersepadu JPJ” in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration from April 18 to 27, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
He said 231 locations across the country have been identified as frequent accident areas or “hotspots” where monitoring will be stepped up.
He said this at a press conference after attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Bentong JPJ office, in Jalan Chamang, here today . On the construction of the new Bentong JPJ branch, Loke said in his speech that it was aimed at replacing the existing office located at Taman Datuk Shah Bandar Hussin, where it has been operating since 1983.
