KOTA BARU: A by-pass around the town of Raub on the KL-Gua Musang Central Spine Road (CSR), which will ease traffic congestion during the Hari Raya Aidiladha festival, is expected to be opened by June 25.
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad said the by-pass involved the overall road alignment in CSR Package 5B and part of the road alignment under CSR Package 5A through the interchange exit near University of Technology Mara in Raub.
“This is because more than 500,000 vehicles will pass through the route, especially residents from Kelantan this coming Hari Raya,” he told reporters after officiating the 46th Annual General Meeting of the Kelantan Malay Contractors Association of Malaysia here yesterday, Bernama reported.
