Rassie Erasmus has provided interesting reasons for his selection of Jordan Hendrikse and Edwill van der Merwe in the Springboks' team.
Van der Merwe’s selection makes perfect sense in the absence of Kurt-Lee Arendse and Cheslin Kolbe, but that should take nothing away from his meteoric rise considering he hadn’t initially formed part of the Springboks’ planning camps earlier in the year.
