Randy Couture believes Chandler will have to learn from McGregor’s loss to Nate Diaz
Randy Couture says Michael Chandler has the tools to cause major problems for Conor McGregor if their UFC fight goes ahead this year.
“I think Michael has the potential to be very difficult for Conor,” Couture said when speaking to the Irish Mirror. “I think that’s a mistake against Conor, he’s gonna need to sharpen up those wrestling tools and get back into that college wrestling mindset. “I think it’s great, it’s certainly a lot easier to make a living than getting punched in the face, it’s nice to be able to say ‘I didn’t like that one, let’s do another take’, you don’t get that opportunity in fighting,” smiled Couture.
“So many times studios seem to be doing reboots like this, instead of venturing out and trying something different, they take an old film and try to reboot it and try and make money that way which sometimes offends me and bothers me and sometimes, you know, this is one I'm actually excited to see what they do. Sometimes I’m like ‘Man don’t mess with my childhood memories’,” laughed Couture.
