Random subway slasher nabbed after back-to-back attacks on same line, police say
The man police say was behind two knife attacks in a less-than-24-hour span on the same subway line in Queens has been arrested.
Donny Ubiera, 32, is allegedly responsible for sending two people to the hospital in the morning attacks within the city's subway system, according to police officials.After the second attack Saturday morning, the NYPD released photos of Ubiera in hopes of getting help from the public in tracking down the alleged knife assailant.
