Rain won't move in until later Monday night and linger into Tuesday, keeping things dry for Halloween trick-or-treat hours.
Temperatures will climb into the mid 60s by mid-afternoon and still be above 60 in most spots when dusk arrives just before 6 p.m., theMost importantly for trick-or-treaters, conditions should remain dry until late this evening. Forecasters said Sunday afternoon that there’s less than a 20% chance of rain in New Jersey between 4 and 7 p.m. and reiterated Monday morning that the forecast is largely unchanged.
We’ll start off with sunny skies after some morning fog dissipates before clouds increase as the day moves along, forecasters say. Tuesday, however, will bring some rain to New Jersey through the overnight and into morning. Totals will range from a tenth of an inch along the Interstate 95 corridor to about a half-inch toward Cape May. Northwestern areas of the state won’t see much precipitation.
