Much better served up in distance now and while drawn out he should be strong at the finish.
was excellent in defeat coming off a six-week break when a close fourth at Randwick back on July 29. Had a wide run there but kept finding to be beaten a length. Impressive winning over this track and trip prior to that and well served with the draw. Take beating.resumed with a very nice effort in a Midway and he backed it up running on strongly at Warwick Farm two weeks ago. He found himself well back last time and if he can make use of a kinder gate he’s a threat.
