In what could be a big blow to the Jets, defensive lineman Quinnen Williams left Sunday’s game against the Bills in Orchard Park with a calf injury.
The 25-year-old already had two sacks on Josh Allen in the game, bringing him to 11 for the season to extend his career-high. Williams, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, is under contract through 2023 on his fifth-year option, after which he can become a free agent. The 27-year-old wideout missed three games earlier this season with a knee injury, returning in Week 12 against the Bears to make one catch for nine yards. Last week against the Vikings, Davis had five catches on 10 targets for 85 yards.Behind Garrett Wilson, the Jets have Elijah Moore, Braxton Berrios, and Denzel Mims at wide receiver.
