Recently, a video went viral showing a group of men shoving each other around in a housing area in Bintulu, Sarawak.Did a gang fight erupt in Bintulu as depicted in the viral video?Clearing the air over the incident, Bintulu OCPD Supt Nixon Joshua Ali said police were aware of the viral video and the fight was over a noisy motorcycle.
"The recent minute-long viral video incident of a group of men fighting and shoving each other happened here in the Bintulu district."Two men had a disagreement caused by noise made from a motorcycle in the neighbourhood," he said in a statement on Monday ."The woman in the video is the mother of one of those who went to resolve the issues but she suffered minor injuries during the fight.
"Both parties have given their statements at the police station explaining the incident and stating that it has been resolved.Supt Nixon advised the public not to spread any inaccurate information and create problems, especially regarding sensitive issues.
