According to him, his father, Ayub Abdul Ghani, 61, decided to donate a kidney to him after seeing him coming home exhausted after a day’s work and at the same time having to go through dialysis."My father gradually stopped smoking even though he is a heavy smoker because a smoker cannot be an organ donor," he added.
Dr Mohamad Zulkifli also shared his and his father’s journey on TikTok. One post showed Ayun using an incentive spirometer, a handheld medical device used to help patients improve the functioning of their lungs, with the caption"My Hero".
