A recent report suggests that the latest modus operandi is to send victims fake arrest warrants or notices bearing the police logo. Is this report true?

Perak police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said in a statement that they had received two police reports about scammers using this specific modus operandi.

The reports stated that the victims had been led to believe the documents were legit as it bore the police logo and involved state police chiefs.
