Are scammers misusing images of former Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in an attempt to deceive the public?In a Facebook post, Dr Noor Hisham said it had come to his attention that scammers are using his image and his name again to peddle products. "To all Malaysians, this is irresponsible fake news that has gone viral using my photo and name. Please be aware of this and do not be tricked," said Dr Noor Hisham.
He added that he would be discussing the matter with his lawyers and taking legal action on the misuse of his name and image. It is also important to note that one of the advertisements claims that Dr Noor Hisham is a cardiology expert, which is not his speciality as he is an endocrine surgery specialist.
