Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, emphasizes the importance of disseminating truthful knowledge to uphold justice and prevent the spread of extremism.

Education that solely focuses on imparting knowledge without cultivating noble values can result in the creation of corrupt and irresponsible individuals, stated Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia. During her address at the Royal Conference on Islam and Humanity today, Her Majesty emphasized the imperative of disseminating truthful knowledge to uphold justice. Conversely, the propagation of false and misleading information fuels extremism and injustice.

'Therefore, the pursuit and understanding of truth are indispensable to ensure a brighter future for humanity,' Her Majesty declared at the conference held at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur campus. The royal address at the conference, themed 'Keadilan dalam Islam: Konsep, Sejarah dan Cabaran Masa Kini' (Justice in Islam: Concepts, History, and Contemporary Challenges), was shared on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's Facebook page. The Queen also underscored the significance of introspection and persistently seeking guidance and solutions for a more harmonious future for humanity. UTM, in collaboration with the Raja Zarith Sofiah Centre for Advanced Studies in Islam, Science, and Civilisation, and Yayasan Raja Zarith Sofiah Negeri Johor, jointly hosted the conference. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir and Higher Education Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Dr Zaini Ujang. Her Majesty graced the occasion by launching the book 'Sejarah Islam di Alam Melayu: Antara Fakta dan Rekaan' (History of Islam in Malay World: Between Facts and Fiction) translated by Associate Professor Dr Khalif Muammar A. Harris from the original work 'Historical Fact and Fiction' by Royal Professor Tan Sri Dr Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas.
