JOHOR BARU: Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, joined the funeral prayers to pay her last respects to the two cops killed by an armed intruder at the Ulu Tiram police station here.
The remains of Konst Ahmad Azza Fahmi Azhar, 22, and Konst Muhamad Syafiq Ahmad Said, 24, were brought out of the mosque at about 11.50am yesterday after the funeral prayers were performed. According to a post on His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia’s Facebook account, during the visit, Raja Zarith Sofiah also presented a personal donation to both families, Bernama reported.The funeral rites were conducted with full police honours.
