Qantas chairman Richard Goyder and Vanessa Hudson will appear at the inquiry on Wednesday. But Alan Joyce will not.could not appear due to “personal obligations” while overseas. Brisbane Airport, which claims airfares are 75 per cent higher than pre-COVID-19 levels, was pressed by senators on whether it knew why the federal government had rejected a previous attempt by Qatar Airways to add daily flights to Brisbane in 2018.
