Residents submitted a memorandum asking for the Raja Muda of Selangor to intervene in the proposed construction of the Petaling Jaya Dispersal Link.

Bandar Kinrara 1 representative Paveanthen Ramachandran handed the memorandum to Mohd Sulaiman Idris who is the special escort to the Raja Muda of Selangor.“In the memorandum, we expressed our concerns on flooding, poor air quality and noise pollution that may affect us if the project goes ahead,” he said.

Say No to PJD Link Highway Kinrara chapter head Dhanaraj Arumugam said Kinrara residents were against the project for the many problems it could bring, including noise and dust pollution, flooding and loss of privacy.Dhanaraj, 42, added that the highway would directly affect houses in Taman Kinrara 2, 3, 4 and 7 as well as Bandar Kinrara 1 and 2.
