Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul welcomes the health minister’s proposal for a third health clinic in the constituency but says Semenyih folk deserve a hospital.
PETALING JAYA: Nik Aziz Afiq Abdul, the PSM candidate for the Semenyih by-election, has welcomed the health minister’s proposal to build a third health clinic there but will still push for a hospital if he wins on Saturday.
“If I win, I will meet with the health minister within the first week to explain to him the need for a public hospital,” he told FMT while on his campaign trail today. Nik Aziz’s seven-point manifesto for the Semenyih by-election focuses on better healthcare, including having a new hospital. “The senior citizens are the ones who suffer the most because many have to take public transportation to get medical care but our bus services here are not punctual,” he had said earlier.
