A parade on Sunday afternoon was among the highlights of celebrating the 76th Independence Day of Pakistan.
“The initial intention of this parade was to ensure that our youth can retain their connection with their roots through, fashion, cuisine, dialect, traditions, entertainment, culture, folklore, and more. However, we also want this parade to embody where those roots have branched off,” event representative Hannan Arshad said in the days leading up to it.
Music and dance performances, cultural exhibitions and vendor stalls have also have been featured at the event.
