KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 2 ― National carmaker Proton Holdings Bhd recorded its best sales month again with 15,880 units sold in August as its production recovery continues.
Deputy chief executive officer Roslan Abdullah confirmed that with four months to go in 2022, Proton’s production operations have stabilised. Proton retains its second position in national auto sales and achieved an estimated market share of 23.7 per cent for August while the year-to-date market share climbed to 19.5 per cent.
