ASEAN NCAP has awarded a 5-star rating to Proton e.MAS 7. The safety rating program has applauded Proton for including ADAS on all e.MAS 7 variants.
cars including the Proton X70 and X50 SUVs as well as the Proton S70 sedan. Aside from that, Proton Saga has also been rated as a 4-star model.It covers four assessment factors including the Adult Occupant Protection which represents 40.00 points of the overall score. The three other factors are Child Occupant Protection , Safety Assist , and Motorcyclist Safety which cover 20.00 points each.
Overall, the e.MAS 7 managed to score 92.57 out of the possible 100 points. The new EV currently ranked the highest among all the vehicles that were tested by ASEAN NCAP this year ahead of other 5-star recipients such as Chery Omoda 5 , GAC Emzoom , Honda Accord , and Mitsubishi Xforce . In addition to that, the new electric SUV is equipped with 6 airbags that are inclusive of side curtain airbags that cover both the front and rear occupants of e.MAS 7. Other features that also come as standard for all e.MAS 7 includes a 360-degree view camera and auto hold.However, the Proton e.MAS7 will be made available for a much lower price for the first 3,000 customers thanks to a RM4,000 launch rebate:our new collaboration with Proton e.
