A U.K. army veteran is being criminally charged for praying silently in a 'buffer zone' outside an abortion clinic, and is expected to plead 'not guilty' in court next week.
Jeremiah Igunnubole, legal counsel for ADF UK, described the scenario as a"staggering U-turn."
Ingunnbole says that in other circumstances, the police and the courts have"made it clear that silent prayer is"And yet, BCP Council has introduced a rights-restricting censorship zone, which they now argue extends to a ban on silent prayer.
