(Reuters) -Advance Auto Parts said on Thursday private equity firm Carlyle Group would buy its Worldpac unit for $1.5 billion in cash, sending its shares about 11% higher in premarket trade.
KUALA LUMPUR: The prosecution's theory of Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Low Taek Jho being the mirror image of one another is a"malefic" theory that is not backed up by evidence, the High Court heard.
"There must be clear and direct or indirect evidence to justify this accusation," Wan Azwan said here on Thursday. "This malefic theory is a stark departure from the time-tested and accepted legal doctrines of common intention, criminal conspiracy, or abetment which entail the proving of a joint intention or preparation between individuals to commit a common crime.
