“Laporan polis telah dibuat berkaitan insiden tersebut dan siasatan dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti punca kejadian. Dalam masa sama, jabatan berkenaan menggesa orang ramai agar tidak menyebarkan maklumat tidak sahih berhubung insiden tersebut. Pemangku Ketua Polis Perak, Deputi Komisioner Zulkafli Sariaat berkata, baki 80 lagi yang dirakam keterangan membabitkan banduan serta tahanan di penjara berkenaan.
