The change in policy comes after the Queen’s death and the King took the throne with the birthday of the prince going without mention due to him not being a working royal. “The policy changed last year after the Queen died … the policy now is they do birthday tributes to working royals,” Ms Coy told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “It’s not a surprise. “It’s just one of those official reminders that again he’s totally out of the fold.”
